RedTitan offers an unrivalled range of solutions for organisations using
IBM AFP for their high-volume printing.
Run legacy jobs unchanged
Running old Xerox centralised printer documents on new AFP systems is
a cinch. RedTitan's datastream converter
converts Xerox DJDE/Metacode to APF on-the-fly, emulating your existing
documents on the new printer without wasting valuable programming time
on recoding applications.
Develop new jobs
Documents from legacy printers can be read into the RedTitan design
system and edited, redesiged and kept up-to-date without recoding
the document from scratch. Alternatively, new dynamic documents can be
set up, deploying sophisticated conditional processing, barcodes and graphics,
in spot and full colour. The system outputs all the correct AFP files
at the touch of a button.
The advantage of the design system is that one core file outputs to any
format so short runs can be made on local PCL printers or long runs on
the AFP or PostScript production printer. You can use the same documents
on Xerox, Oce, Siemens and other large printers working alongside IBM
printers.
Dynamic document formatting is available
when running in PostScript mode.
Supports high production speeds
The RedTitan datastream conversion and dynamic document formatting
keeps up with the speed of even the fastest AFP printers.
Fast 'time to first print'
Because we process the data 'on-the-fly', the time to first print
is seconds not minutes.
TCP/IP input and LPR output
RedTitan supports TCP/IP input from a specified port and can
send output via LPR.
Double byte font support
Legacy Xerox documents that deploy double-byte fonts can now be converted
for running on AFP.
